    Permanent 36.25 hours per week term time only

    Band D/E Point 17-26 FTE £32,535 to £40,840 Actual £27,388 to £34,379

    At Dilkes Academy, we are seeking a dynamic, creative, and compassionate SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) leader to work with pupils aged 5–11 who face complex learning difficulties. Our school is committed to fostering an environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. We are focused on providing a broad, ambitious curriculum tailored to each pupil's individual Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). These plans are developed collaboratively with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure that every learner's needs are met.

    • A confident and inspiring practitioner: Someone who can lead successful learning experiences that engage and motivate pupils. An effective line manager of support staff, ensuring that all pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) receive tailored, comprehensive support within the classroom, fostering an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
    • Creative and practical: Capable of bringing learning to life through a hands-on, engaging curriculum that connects with pupils' needs and interests.
    • An excellent communicator: Someone who is committed to working collaboratively with children, staff, parents, and external professionals to achieve the best outcomes for students.

    Our pupils are aged 3 – 11, ranging from Nursery to Year 6, and mainly live in the area surrounding the school.
